In fact, using a powdered eye-shadow on your eyebrows will give them a more natural look. It is also easier to fill in brows and shape them to perfection with eye shadow because it’s easier to blend in harsh lines or remove excess color. To enhance your eyebrows, pick a shade that is slightly lighter than your brows and keep in mind that an added benefit of using eye-shadow on your brows is that you can mix colors to create a more natural finish. Use a stiff, angled brush and gentle strokes of the eye-shadow to color the brows, then blend out with a softer, rounder brush to soften the arches.

Under-Eye Concealer

As crazy as it sounds, [blending](http://www.colormatters.com/color-and-design/basic-color-theory) orange with blue will cancel each shade out. So, applying orange shadow to blue under-eye circles will result in a perfectly blended tone that not only conceals the circles, but will also brighten your eyes.

The good news is you can achieve the same look with eye shadow. It is best to use a color that is two shades lighter than your natural skin tone. Highlighting should be done on the high points of your face, including brow bones, cheekbones and the bridge of your nose. Highlighting in areas where the light will catch can also make your eyes look bigger and brighter. Use the lightest shade on the corner of the eye, under the brows and along your lash line. Apply use a stiff angled brush, then blend away the obvious lines using a larger, softer round brush.

Instead of applying thick, sticky products designed to cover tattoos, grab your eye-shadow palate. Choose an eye shadow that is closest to your skins undertone. This is a time-consuming process, but it works, especially on smaller tattoos. The first step is to apply a primer to the tattoo area, thin apply a thin layer of foundation on top of the primer. This will help lighten the colors of the tattoo. Spray a thin coat of hairspray over the foundation and allow to dry (this really will keep the foundation in place). Use a sponge or thick brush to apply the eye shadow and apply another coat of hair spray, then another layer of foundation. Set with another shot of the hairspray and tada…what tattoo?

You can use powder, cream, matte or shimmer, any of it will produce the same effect as a bronzer. To avoid a washed out look, it is best to use a shadow with red, yellow or orange undertones.
