1/28 Stabilize Blood Sugar
Vinegar has been used for centuries as a natural remedy to combat illnesses and manage wounds. The medicinal properties of apple cider vinegar have been used in research studies to exam its health benefits.
Refined carbohydrates elevate blood sugar levels. A 2014 study concluded that including apple cider vinegar in a high carb meal can reduce blood sugar levels. Apple cider vinegar cancels out some of the carbohydrates that are consumed and also reduces the glycemic index. So the carbs are more slowly digested, absorbed, and metabolized. Another study found that taking two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar at night lowers blood sugar levels.
Many research studies recommend to only drink organic, unfiltered, and unprocessed apple cider vinegar.
